Wall furnaces can be found in many Adelaide homes.  They are classed as an 'open flue appliance' which means that it draws its combustion air from within the room where it is fitted. It is critical that these appliances are fitted correctly and the correct flueing components are used to prevent products of combustion (carbon monoxide) re-entering the room.

This type of heating consists of a gas heater in the roof space, duct work is then run to each room and has an outlet in the ceiling. A return air duct is the fitted in a cental area and the air is circulated around the home while being heated as it passes through the heater, this can be fully controlable with the use of electronic zone valves.
